DOORS URL from WORD

How can I use the URL from an object text from WORD. I don't have DOORS installed locally in my PC. I run it from a server drive. Do you know if this is the problem, can anyone let me know a solution?

Highlight the URL in Word. Press CNTRL-C to copy it to Clipboard. Press CNTRL-K to edit the URL. Click the address field. Press CNTRL-V.
